Singer-songwriter-guitarist Zoë Dominguez closes her Southern mini tour with a show in her hometown Sunday night at The Basement. Dominguez now lives in Memphis, so it will be the first opportunity for Nashville fans to hear her perform material from her solo debut Out the House, which was released in May 2025. On Out the House, the former Queens of Noise lead vocalist moves beyond her punk rock roots, and the result is a hooky modern rock record that showcases her exceptional songwriting. Songs like “Be Your Girl,” “Boy I’d Wanna Be” and the two singles from the album, “5-10-100” and “Leave Me Now,” demonstrate a sophistication you wouldn’t expect from an artist in her early 20s. Sunday night, Dominguez and her band — lead guitarist Mason Romanak, bassist Coral Dawley and drummer Joey Eddins — headline a triple bill of women rockers that includes poppy alt-rocker Lily Crow and shoegaze artist Jane Leopardo. “It’ll mostly be Out the House,” Dominguez says of her set list for the show. “And we have two new ones that I’ll be playing — the next two songs I’m planning to release as singles. The lead single is called ‘Multiplex’ and the other one is ‘Elizabeth’s Gun.’”
