Sheryl Crow

Longtime Nashville resident Sheryl Crow returns to Woolworth Theatre on Jan. 13 for the fourth installment of her ongoing series of shows benefiting her Love Now foundation, which works with Nashville schools to provide food and other support for students in need. The Missouri native hit the charts in 1994 with her song “All I Wanna Do,” and she released her latest studio album Evolution in 2024. As an exponent of all-American rock, Crow has always drawn from the best, which means “All I Wanna Do” and the Evolution track “Do It Again” sound like, say, Stealers Wheel recast in a way that might be even more commercial than that band’s “Stuck in the Middle With You.” Evolution works as a move toward the modernization of her sound, and you’ll likely relate to the album’s opener “Alarm Clock” as a fellow participant in our current frazzled era. This month at Woolworth Theatre, Crow will be joined by guitarist and bassist Tim Smith, who has worked with her for decades. It’s a great opportunity to support a worthy cause and hear Crow classics performed with acoustic instruments. She returns to Woolworth Theatre for two final shows in February and March.

7:30 p.m. at Woolworth Theatre

223 Rep. John Lewis Way N.
