For more than 27 years, Harpeth Conservancy (formerly the Harpeth River Watershed Association) has worked to protect Middle Tennessee’s water quality through a scientific lens. And for more than 23 years, River Swing has been the nonprofit’s premier annual fundraiser, underwriting its important work. River Swing takes place at River Circle Farm in Franklin. With headliners The Jack Wharff Band, fresh off a CMA Fest performance this summer, the evening promises dinner and dancing awash in golden-hour light. Tickets provide access to an open bar, a buffet dinner and a silent auction, with auction items running the gamut from artwork to sporting event tickets to travel experiences. VIP tickets include tableside drinks and an acoustic performance by The Jack Wharff Band among other perks. If tickets are still available as you read this, they can be purchased at the door or online — but River Swing usually sells out. The event is 21 and up, so book a sitter after you grab your tickets.
