The fall run of Musicians Corner — Nashville’s annual series of free outdoor concerts at Centennial Park — usually peaks with the three-day Labor Day weekend celebration Free Fest, and this year’s lineup doesn’t disappoint. Bon Aqua-born Americana artist Rayland Baxter will headline Friday night, country-rock singer-songwriter Nikki Lane takes the headlining spot on Saturday evening, and the one-two punch of indie-pop singer Arlo Parks and Nashville native MORGXN will close things out on Sunday. Musicians Corner will also be taking place on Sept. 11, Sept. 18 (as part of AmericanaFest) and Sept. 25. You might see some of those slates discussed in future Critics’ Picks sections.
