Best Way to Support Local Pets

It’s always fun to have an excuse to get fancy, and when getting fancy means you’re also helping homeless pets find forever families, what more do you need? Nashville Humane Association gives local animal lovers not one but two opportunities each year to get gussied up for a good cause. Every January, Unleashed brings together local “celebrities” with adoptable pets for an oh-so-cute runway show and party at the Hutton Hotel. Guests are encouraged to bring canine dates, and the dinner party includes a buffet for dogs. Every spring, Cause for Paws gives ladies a chance to lunch at Belle Meade Country Club while admiring spring fashions from local boutiques. Best of all? The funds raised benefit animals in need throughout Middle Tennessee. We’ll tip our hats to that. NANCY FLOYD
