bully picks

It’s been nearly a year since Alicia Bognanno last graced Nashville with her effortless brand of cool, and local fans are more than ready for another dose. Though the mastermind behind beloved rock project Bully has roots in Nashville, she’s left her followers waiting with bated breath after wrapping up two shows at The Blue Room in August 2025. Listeners are thirsty for more of the fuzzed-out catharsis experienced during her live shows — piercing riffs wrapped around searingly raspy vocals that scratch a deep itch on standouts like “Lose You” and “All I Do.” To put it simply: It’s impossible to leave a Bully show without having been sonically baptized in her abundance of cool-girl energy. Luckily, Nashville will get a free two-for-one lesson in female-fronted rock during the WNXP Summer Line Series this weekend. Fans of all ages can catch indie-punk trio massie99 sharing the bill with Bognanno when they open for Bully on Saturday.

7 p.m. at The Landing at Nashville Yards

131 10th Ave. N.
