Esteemed journalist and author Patrick Radden Keefe will be at Parnassus Books on Saturday in promotion of his latest nonfiction novel London Falling: A Mysterious Death in a Gilded City and a Family’s Search for Truth. The author behind exhaustive investigations into the pharmaceutical industry’s role in the opioid crisis (2021’s Empire of Pain) and the killing of Jean McConville during The Troubles in Northern Ireland (2018’s Say Nothing) will be talking to Nashvillians about his next book, which chronicles the sudden death of a 19-year-old in London in 2019. It’s been a while since PRK came to town: The longtime New Yorker staff writer last appeared in town during the 2022 Southern Festival of Books, so make sure to snag a ticket before they’re gone. Legendary local journalist Demetria Kalodimos will be hosting the conversation at Parnassus.
