Missing that international camaraderie now that the World Cup is over? Copperline Ranch, once the private estate of country crooner Kenny Rogers, is hosting the Eat Around the World Festival, which should give you some global goodwill. The lineup includes vendors with foods from Portugal, Cuba, Mexico, Japan, Jamaica, Hawaii and elsewhere. Specific vendors include Haole Boys Teriyaki, Portuguese-Southern fusion Millie’s, Cuban Cracker Family Kitchen and many others. In addition to the food, the new one-day event includes live music, farm animal encounters and the chance to attend the first-ever public event at the 60-acre property, located about 13 miles east of downtown. Admission is free, but there are costs for food, merch, hay rides and a customized hat bar.
