Hidden Door Tattoo First Anniversary Party

East Nashville’s Hidden Door Tattoo is celebrating an entire year of being in business with a blowout birthday bash featuring live music, food, art and vendors, plus a raffle benefiting Abortion Care Tennessee. From noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, attendees can get special flash tattoo designs from Hidden Door’s staff artists as well as visiting tattooers. You can also witness a vegan hotdog eating contest, in which the competitors will include sponsors like Drkmttr, Gift Horse, Third Coast Comedy Club, Mayday Salon Cooperative, Wild Heart Meditation Center and more beloved local businesses. If tattoos and competitive eating aren’t your thing, you can catch some performances from local bands like Blood Root, Sad Baxter, Knifey, Ol Blue, Sharp Teeth Sweet and IMGRNT. Enjoy food and drinks from the Mexican grub pop-up Besitas as well as Jewish Cowboy, No Yolk Bakery and Merry Co. Cocktails. Browse the vendor market, which will include an array of vintage clothing shops as well as LGBTQ-owned bookstore Novelette Booksellers. Locally made glass art and other creative work will also be for sale. Winners of the raffle will receive prizes from Third Man Records, the Belcourt, Dino’s, Music Valley Archive and plenty of other cherished Nashville businesses.
