Calling all those who are strange and unusual: The Spooky Market for the Recently Deceased will be hosted by Shadowed Pages Mobile Bookshop. The Beetlejuice-themed market will feature a selection of spooky treats and bookish goodies, right in time for Halloween. Shadowed Pages will have a curated set of spooky book titles inside the truck. Joining them with more bookish goods will be Mad Poppy Reads and Sarah Sundays, who specializes in book charms. Skull and Ash has created a special tattoo flash sheet for the event, with designs ranging from ghosts and cauldrons to a few literary references. Other spooky vendors include Reliquary Perfume — a Southern Gothic fragrance house that features vegan and cruelty-free scents — and White Witch Alchemy, which will be on hand to do live tarot readings. Plenty of other local vendors will be on hand, making this market a required stop during this spooky season. The event is free, but an RSVP is required, so head to @shadowedpagesbookshop on Instagram to snag a spot.
