TIRRC Votes, the election-focused wing of the Tennessee Immigrant and Refugee Rights Coalition, is inviting everyone to sing their hearts out and raise money for their canvassing efforts. Or pay to avoid going onstage. The “dare-oke” event lets you make a donation to dare someone to go and sing a song, and if they get stage fright, they’ll have to match the donation to opt out. The Madison event includes drinks and a buffet of Filipino food from Maemax Market. Costumes encouraged.
4 p.m. at Maemax
2106 Gallatin Pike N., Madison
