Ascend Amphitheater will host a community day this weekend celebrating the area’s first responders, and the event is set to include live music, kids’ areas, concessions and family-friendly vibes. Emergency and safety vehicles will be present, as well as helicopters, marine unit boats, K-9 units and fire trucks. The event is a great way for families to get out and spend time together — and attendees will want to get pictures and videos. The lineup consists of performances from the young students of School of Rock Nashville, as well as the Titans Blue Crew Drumline and country artist Clayton Q. It’s a free event thanks to sponsors and local support, but if you RSVP via Ascend Amphitheater’s website, you will be entered to win two tickets to an upcoming concert of your choice at the downtown venue.
