Critic's Pick: 'Balloons'

Omnipresent Nashville photographer Ray Di Pietro will host his first photography exhibit Balloons on Thursday. The exhibit will benefit a variety of Nashville community service organizations. Prints will be for sale for $500, with proceeds benefiting the following organizations, assigned to each print: Nashville Rescue Mission, Room In The Inn, The Store, Open Table Nashville, People Loving Nashville, Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, The Contributor and the Community Resource Center. Two-hundred newspaper-style exhibit programs will also be for sale for $20, with proceeds benefiting The Contributor. In October, Di Pietro was named Best Photographer in the Scene’s 2026 Best of Nashville issue — here’s a chance to see why he earned that distinction.

5-8 p.m. at 219 Sixth Ave. N.
