All the Daughters: Care, Militancy & Inheritance is a video-based group exhibition co-curated by Haein Kang and John Warren at Vanderbilt’s Space 204 gallery within the campus’ E. Bronson Ingram Studio Arts Center. The show gathers moving-image works including animation, documentary and experimental narrative focused on women’s stories across generations, geographies and speculative futures. Artists Keanani Afu, Heejoo Kim, Kelly Gallagher, Janie Geiser, Young Joo Lee and Jodie Mack explore care as both intimate support and contested terrain, and militancy as both overt political struggle and the quiet daily acts of refusal. The show’s themes range from the intimate to the cultural, the personal to the polemic, and the works’ formal variety makes this display a dynamic gallery-wide experience.
