I sometimes forget that Andrea West’s Instagram account (@nashvillemade) doesn’t just belong to someone in my family/friend group with really good posts and stories. The recipes she features on her Instagram (and on her blog plaineverything.com) are my favorite kind: They’re all based around what you have in your pantry and how you can shape it to meet your palate. The dishes are focused on simple, flavorful items, and she covers everything from the meatballs from places like Aldi and Trader Joe’s to how to repurpose odds and ends from your leftovers. West comes off as extremely down-to-earth, and she’s easy to learn from.
