Warped Tour alumni, it’s time to clock back in: The Summer Set is coming to town. If you know anything from The Summer Set, it’s likely “Chelsea,” or perhaps “Jukebox (Life Goes On)” from their early days. More than a decade ago, the band toured with All Time Low (what a time to be alive), and at some point they took a long hiatus — but they came back strong with a new album in 2025, Meet Me at the Record Store. It’s rare and exciting to have a band like this return with so many original members — those include vocalist Brian Logan Dales, drummer Jess Bowen, guitarist and keyboardist John Gomez and bassist Stephen Gomez. They’ve evolved, yes, but have not completely abandoned their foundational pop-punk sound — another exciting rarity. It’s a natural progression from those Warped Tour days. Check out “ADIDAS” from their most recent album for a reassuring example. You’ll still hear some of the classics on this tour stop — the band members just have less severe side parts now.
