No one wrecked opposing backfields last season like Tennessee State University’s Terrell Allen. In 11 games, Allen racked up 14.5 sacks and a whopping 28 tackles for loss — both stats led the nation at the Football Championship Subdivision level. Allen’s performance earned him the Big South-OVC Defensive Player of the Year award and the Buck Buchanan Award. Although Allen has moved on to Tulane after two all-conference seasons in Nashville, his place in Tiger history is cemented.
