When it comes to local high school athletes during the 2023-24 school year, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better résumé than that of Nolensville High School’s Claire Stegall. Currently a senior, Stegall entered her junior campaign with high expectations, already considered one of the top runners in the state. Stegall proceeded to level up, winning three state titles (two in track and field and one in cross country), qualifying for nationals in the latter and earning the Gatorade Tennessee High School Player of the Year award in the former. And she still has another year to go!Â
