Celeb-gawking is a time-honored tradition in these parts, but the endeavor became more fascinating when the cast of ABC’s Nashville arrived last year. Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere, Chip Esten and the rest were regularly filmed portraying us all over town, and they were friendly when we spotted them at restaurants and karaoke joints in their downtime. Life imitated art, but without the infighting.
