Maybe it’s just the contrarian in us, but we think it’s good to have some people acting as thorns in the Dean administration’s side. There aren’t many on the Metro Council who do, but Emily Evans is usually up for the task, whether she’s opposing the issuance of $1 billion in bonds (interest-only for seven years) or questioning the administration’s handling of enterprise funds like the Nashville Farmers’ Market or the Fairgrounds. And she live-tweeted the Diarrhea Planet album release show!
