CP: Police Identify Woman Killed in Green Hills Dentist Office

The City Paper is reporting that police have identified the woman shot and killed this morning in a Green Hills dentist office as Vickie Pearsall, 48:

Pearsall worked as a receptionist in the office of Dr. John Williams, according to police, who found her dead on the floor behind a desk at about 7 a.m. The investigation so far suggests that someone shot Pearsall shortly after she arrived to open the office at 2325 Crestmoor Road. A patient entered the office prior to Williams but apparently did not see Pearsall.

UPDATE, 3:36 p.m. Tweeted by CP's Pierce Greenberg: "MNPD: Man who shot Vickie Pearsall in Green Hills this morning was found dead on I-24 in Paducah, Ky. He was her husband, Gilbert Pearsall."
