The Patterson House, the latest act by brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg, opens today at 1711 Division St., in the building that formerly housed Edisto and Patrick's.
Now redecorated in dark woods and wallpaper, with a 30-seat bar, the restaurant centers on a menu of artisanal cocktails. Featuring 50 cocktails poured over eight types of twice-filtered ice, the drinks menu was masterminded by Toby Maloney and Jason Cott of New York-based Alchemy Consulting, the firm behind Bradstreet Craftshouse in Minneapolis and The Violet Hour in Chicago. The menu is divided between classic cocktails and signature creations.
Chef Josh Habiger, an alumnus of Fat Duck in London, Craft in New York City and Alinea in Chicago, will deliver a repertoire of small plates and panini all priced below $11. If you get there before we do, please report back on The Elvis panini with peanut butter, banana and bacon.
The Patterson House is open Tuesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. The kitchen will also stay open until 2:30 a.m. All menu items will be less than $11.
