Watch Jonny Fritz Creep Sweetly in 'Stadium Inn' [Fresh Vid]

Just east of the Cumberland and a stone's throw from Nissan Stadium stands The Stadium Inn, an extended stay hotel with a long history that includes a recent stint as the home of the United States Wrestling Organization (which spawned a documentary and its share of great music videos — see Lambchop and Caitlin Rose for starters).

While wrestling hasn't been an attraction at the Inn for several years, the colorful residents of the place continue to fascinate ace singer-songwriter Jonny Fritz, who offers an homage to them in the aptly titled "Stadium Inn" on his brand new Jim James-produced album Sweet Creep.

"As Nashville started to change, traffic on the freeway slowed down, leaving you with time to have a look around," says Fritz in a release. "I always looked forward to creeping by the Stadium Inn during rush hour. You could see right into these people's rooms because they hardly ever drew the blinds and I don't think they cared or knew that people could see them. It really inspired me and I liked to think of the place as a live movie theatre with 15 movies playing at once. That's what inspired the song at least."

In a new video, which premiered Tuesday at American Songwriter, Fritz takes over a room at the Inn and engages in some pantsless shenanigans. It looks like he's trying to get someone's attention, and it turns out that someone is Birdcloud's Makenzie Green. Check it out above, and grab a copy of Sweet Creep here.
