After a friends and family trial run last weekend, Little Harpeth Brewing Company is ready to invite the drinking public into their new taproom beginning this Friday, Sept. 4. Now, don't go expecting anything fancy. Little Harpeth is located in an industrial strip between Nissan Stadium and Jefferson Street, and the taproom is just a small section carved out of the brewery with a few taps coming out of a refrigerated box.
But what you can expect is a convivial atmosphere and some excellent brews like Little Harpeth's Chicken Scratch, Upstream, Stax and High Water. They'll also offer experiemental small-batch beers when available. I'm a lager fan myself, so I'm predisposed to really like their beers. And I do.
Now you can too. True to the brewery's uber-casual nature, operating hours will be ... flexible. They've officially been announced as Friday 5 p.m. until at least 8- or 9-ish and Saturday-Sunday noon to 5- or 6-ish. See you there!
