Went quite well. We designed, built, shot and edited everything ourselves. Behind the scenes shots: http://www.redbubble.com/people/onetonshadow/journal/6329740-behind-the-needle

There's been a lot of Neil Young in Nashville this year. He

played The Ryman

. Then he showed up at Mercy Lounge to watch

bands play Nada Surf songs

, to the amazement of someone on the Internet claiming to be the drummer from Nada Surf. And then English singer Laura Marling covered NY's "Needle and the Damage Done" for her Nashville-recorded Third Man Records single, the nifty stop-motion video for which appears above. It was directed and painstakingly animated by Redman and

Sasufi

, who were crafty enough to make tiny Raconteurs and White Stripes records — and Harvest, obviously — for the tiny turntable, which is not dead, even when unplugged.
