Chef Dano Heinze
Chef Sean Brock has been inviting some of his favorite chefs to cook alongside him in the kitchen at Audrey as part of his “Feast of Friends” series, and the next guest should be a special one. Tonight only, chef Daniel “Dano” Heinze will join the Audrey staff to prepare a multicourse meal of seasonal dishes.
Cooking this kind of meal should be right up his alley, because that’s exactly what Heinze practiced during his years working at McCrady’s in Charleston (including nine years with Brock). I can personally vouch for Heinze’s talent, because the one time I dined at his table back at McCrady’s in 2014 was definitely a top-10 meal of my life! Heinze is currently the chef and co-owner of Vern’s, an American neighborhood bistro in downtown Charleston.
There are still seatings available on Resy from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The meal will be $200 per person with wine pairings, zero-proof options and the full beverage list available for an extra charge.
This should be a really special opportunity that probably won’t come this way again anytime soon!
