We care about y’all here at the Scene. We really do! That’s why we’re throwing our eighth annual Nashville Margarita Festival on Friday, Aug. 20, on the bucolic green of OneC1TY at 3 City Blvd. off of Charlotte. Early-bird tickets have already sold out ... I apologize for underestimating everyone's desire for tequila and lime and not telling you earlier about this year’s edition of the festival.
But general-admission tickets are still available at the event website, and you’d best not dawdle lest you miss out on the chance to sip on 15 samples of margaritas from some of your favorite bars and restaurants from 6 p.m. until last call at 9:30. You’ll get to vote for your favorite to help us name the champ. While you consider your choice, you’ll be entertained by DJ sets and enjoy food trucks, salsa dancing and a photo booth. (Y’know, in case your phone doesn’t have a camera or something.)
Naturally, this is a 21-and-up event, so remember to bring your ID, even if you’re so old that your phone doesn’t have a camera.
