East Nashville is slated for a South American restaurant that will take the space last home to recently closed Vietnamese eatery Far East.

Limo Peruvian will operate at 1008 Fatherland St. in Martin Corner near Five Points, with a February opening eyed.

What Now Nashville reports Marcio Florez will partner with Mauricio “Luis” Sulay to own and operate the business (read here). Florez is known for food truck The Inka Trailer, which offers Peruvian cuisine.

What Now Nashville reports Limo Peruvian will serve Peruvian dishes such as ceviche, lomo saltado and jaleas.

A permit, with a construction cost of $8,000, has been issued.

East Nashville real estate investor and developer Mark Sanders owns the building from which Limo Peruvian will operate. Sanders is the developer of Martin Corner, whose name pays homage to late businessman Bill Martin. The latter owned a since-closed grocery store that operated from the commercial node.
