Nashville has more themed holiday pop-up bars this year than gumdrops on a gingerbread house. This is the tenth in our 12 Days of Christmas Pop-Ups series, designed to help you find more holiday bling for your buck.
For four years Nicky’s Coal Fired has gone all-out for the holidays, turning into what they call Saint Nicky’s. The theme this year is the North Pole, and the Nations pizza joint is a white winter wonderland. Expect igloos made of pizza boxes, penguins and even a flocked tree with pizza-slice ornaments. The menu features Christmas Tree Pasta and Frozen Egg Nog (made with Jim Beam Bourbon), plus the Tropical Sleigh Ride and White Christmas cocktails. Bundle up not just for the theme, but because if you go out on the patio, you’ll find North Pole Post Office, an outdoor bar where you can write and mail letters to Santa.
