Still from “How to Heal the Planet”

Did you miss the sold-out premiere last month of “How to Heal the Planet”? That’s the new short documentary about hydroponics and Nashville’s sustainable food scene featuring Margot McCormack, Jeremy Barlow, Tyler Brown and others. No worries, there’s a second chance. Patagonia Nashville is hosting another screening followed by a Q&A and panel discussion with director Davis Watson. Representatives from Brooklyn Heights Community Garden, Bells Bend Farms, The Nashville Food Project, Urban Green Lab and Compost Nashville will be on site to talk about how you can get involved in supporting the local sustainable food scene. Light bites and nonalcoholic drinks will be served. Tickets are free, but advance online registration is required and you will be encouraged to think about how you can work with one of the partnering organizations to support a more equitable and resilient Nashville. Don’t let the short-doc format fool you: Watson’s film packs a lot of info and pathos into its 25-minute run time.

6:45 p.m. at Patagonia Nashville

601 Overton St.
