We often associate the opera with grand concert halls and opulent theaters. But there’s really nothing quite like an evening of music under the stars. This week, Nashville Opera is treating local audiences to a lovely concert at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens. Opera artists will present a lively program that blends familiar opera arias, beloved Broadway show tunes and even a few Nashville-inspired numbers. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, and you’ll want to arrive early to sample delicious treats from local food trucks. A selection of wine, beer, cocktails and nonalcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase, and tickets include access to the grounds, gardens and mansion.
