Tennessee voters can begin voting in all-but-over presidential primaries on Wednesday, as early voting begins ahead of the March 5 primary.
Also on the ballot is a four-way Democratic primary for Davidson County Circuit Court Division IV, responsible for divorces and adoptions. No Republican qualified for the race, so the winner of the primary effectively wins the August general election. Read more about the candidates here.
Odd-numbered Metro school board districts are also up for election. In just one district, District 1, are there multiple candidates, as three Democrats and one Republican seek the job. Read more about the school board races here.
Also in the Democratic primary, former Davidson County Property Assessor's Office employee Tomesia Day is challenging incumbent Vivian Wilhoite for reelection. No Republican is in the race, so the primary will decide the winner. Read more about the candidates here.
Early voting runs Feb. 14-27, other than Sundays and Presidents Day. Early voting locations are scattered around the city: Find one here.
