With the May 21 filing deadline fast approaching, there are the 139 candidates who have filed paperwork for the 40 Council spots. Twenty-three candidates are currently in the running for the five at-large spots. Many had already appointed treasurers and began fundraising in the first quarter (here's a link to the ones that filed disclosures by April 10).

But the names just keep coming in. Current councilman Jason Holleman, for one, delivered his petition to the Davidson County Election Commission on April 14 and thus his disclosure is not reported in this period. Pith would note, however, that Holleman does have $44,335.34 sitting in his aborted 2013 Senate campaign account that will likely move over to his at-large campaign. Sandra Moore, the District 17 councilwoman, has also joined the race.

Those vying for Council At-Large as of April 29 include:

Buddy Baker

Karen Bennett

Al Carota

Erin Coleman

Elizabeth Dachowski

Robert Duvall
