The charming restaurant out Nolensville Road will morph from Sofie's Bistro into a more causal concept known as SouthSide Grill. Located in a strip mall at 6601 Sugar Valley Drive, the corner store will shut down for a week, while owner Bill Darsinos & Co. remodel the interior.
The menu will also get made over, with the expanded roster ranging from $7 sandwiches to entrees that top out closer to $30. In response to changes in the economic climate, the majority of the entrees will be $12 to $15. SouthSide Grill will serve lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday with brunch on Sunday.
Sofie's Bistro will close April 12 and reopen as SouthSide Grill on April 21.
