Photo of the Week: Nashville's Avery Barkley Peeps the Scene

Last night's episode of Nashville was already handily recapped

. (To quote the third sentence of Mr. Gold's recap, "Last night, Rayna almost fucked Deacon, Scarlett almost fucked Gunnar, Teddy totally fucked Peggy and Avery stopped fucking Marilyn.")

But all fucking aside, there was one scene in particular that caught our eye last night: The version of the Scene, that is, on up-and-coming rocker (and would-be Taylor Swift suitor?) Avery Barkley's smartphone. You see, Barkley was searching through our listings to find when and where his Reba-meets-Loretta-accented ex, Scarlett O'Connor, would be performing. And blammo! As you'll see in the screen-grab posted after the jump, the search did indeed reveal that O'Connor is set "to perform this weekend."

Art director Elizabeth Jones, by the way, seems pretty certain that (based on this image) the issue Barkley is looking at is our Year in Music 2012 issue. Considering the fact that we had a blurb on Nashville in that issue, we're talking mega-meta here.
