Paramore to Play Grimey's on Record Store Day; See Grimey's Full RSD Schedule [Updated]

In a move that will no doubt make an already jam-packed Eighth Avenue even more packed and more jammed,

they'll be playing an acoustic set at Grimey's on Record Store Day, Saturday, April 20. One of

is what they're calling "a Record Store Day exclusive die-cut 7' vinyl in the shape of a hibiscus flower with the 3 interludes from the new album." The Holiday Sessions, we are told, will be limited to 700 copies, 300 of which will be on sale at Grimey's.

Speaking of that new record, Paramore, I venture to say, might be the Paramore album that makes Paramore fans out of people who disliked some of their past haircuts — more sonically diverse than they've been, a pop-rock album uninhibited by genre stricture (perhaps to a fault). No matter where you stand on whether they were ever a local band before they left town, Paramore shows a lot of growth. Here's some proof.
