Local fans of Bleachers, the pop-rock outfit fronted by superproducer Jack Antonoff, got word last week that the group’s upcoming Bleachers Forever tour will close out with an Oct. 8 show in Nashville at The Truth. The venue is owned by ticketing and touring giant Live Nation, and is currently under construction at 500 Chestnut St. in Wedgewood-Houston near the company’s local headquarters. At the time of the announcement, the venue hadn’t posted any shows to its calendar, so the Bleachers news was a bit of a surprise. Monday, The Truth posted its entire initial concert lineup for the autumn.

“Nashville is one of the most important music cities in the world,” says Sally Williams, Live Nation's president of Nashville music and business strategy, in a statement. (The statement does not address the antitrust suit against Live Nation whose trial reconvened Monday.) “With The Truth, we’re creating a venue that reflects Nashville’s legacy of performance and songwriting. It will be a space built for artists, built for sound and built for the kind of live experience Nashville fans deserve.”

As of this writing, opening night will feature U.K.-born rising teenage pop star and Disney actor Freya Skye on Monday, Oct. 5, followed Oct. 6 by gnarly Aussie punks Amyl and the Sniffers and the aforementioned Bleachers show. Nü metal elders Limp Bizkit settle in Oct. 11 and 12, Sting’s Sting 3.0 power trio drops by on Oct. 19, and Venezuelan electronic pop band Rawayana is up next on Oct. 21.

Beck plays on Halloween, and Memphis rap queen GloRilla plays Nov. 4. Country star Jo Dee Messina is set to celebrate Bridges — her first LP in more than a decade, due for a summer release — on Nov. 6. Jimmy Eat World’s 25th anniversary tour for Bleed American stops at The Truth on Nov. 12, and Oklahoma-born Nashville songsmith Wyatt Flores is on the books for Nov. 21. You can see the full lineup via The Truth’s website.
