Bust out the soda-can rollers, Nashville!
If you're an enthusiast of pop music (especially Artpop music) then you probably already know that Lady Gaga is dropping her fifth studio album, Joanne, on Oct. 21. You might have also seen that Gaga plans on promoting the LP by way of a dive bar tour. You know, to get back to her roots and whatnot. The Millennial Madonna will perform two tracks for a small gathering of golden-ticket-garnering "die-hard 'Little Monsters'," at dive-y haunts in select cities on Oct. 5, 6, 20 and 27. And judging by the post (dispatched last night and embedded above) from "Mother Monster's" official Instagram, it looks like the first of those cities is a Music City.
"We are so excited for our first stop in Nashville," the singer posted, along with a shout-out to a certain American beer brand of a light (not Lite) variety that's promoting the tour and streaming the gigs on Facebook.
Kicking off this club-slumming shebang in Nashville makes a whole lotta sense considering the promo video for the tour (below), which features the famed Yankee strolling into a hole-in-the-wall bar carrying a guitar case and outfitted in a cowboy-hat-and-Daisy Dukes get up, looking a bit more like a CMA Fest tailgater than a 'shopped human-motorcycle hybrid.

Well, some clues are laid out for us pretty clearly. Currently, crews are loading a shit-ton of production gear from a big-ass truck parked outside East Nashville rock haunt The 5 Spot. And as you can see in the photos below, the block of Forrest Ave. on which the club sits is currently blocked off. And behind the club there's at least one tour bus and a satellite truck. A rep from The 5 Spot could not be reached for comment at press time.
