Recent cover girl (and recipient of the Scene's Best of Nashville honors for Best Country Album) Margo Price is still out there on the road, touring in support of her Third Man Records solo debut, Midwest Farmer's Daughter. Perhaps the most melancholy song on the record is the autobiographical "Hands of Time," which tells of Price's many hardships, from her father losing his farm to the singer losing a child.
Today, Price unveiled her Ben Chappell-directed video for "Hands of Time," and you can watch it above. The video was shot in Price's hometown — Aledo, Ill., which has a population just shy of 4,000. Fitting for the themes explored in the song, it's a nostalgia-fueled clip that sees Margo visiting with family, looking at old photographs and spending time with her husband (and band member) Jeremy Ivey and their young son. Give it a look above, and if you still don't have a copy, get your hands on Midwest Farmer's Daughter here.
