Sunday Bloody Sunday? More like Friday Bloody Friday, as that's the night of Bonnaroo 2017 that U2 will headline. It's a key piece of information for any festivalgoers who are sick of the troubles in Middle Tennessee, and something we learned when the festival — which returns to nearby Manchester June 8-11 — announced its day schedules this morning.
And speaking of troubling, it turns out the Red Hot Chili Peppers will not be appearing in a dunking booth at Bonnaroo 2017. The self-proclaimed "funky monks" will, however, headline Saturday night of the festival, just like they did in 2012.
In weird-ass 2017, Sunday is still a day of the weekend. And at Bonnaroo 2017, Sunday will be topped by The Weeknd.
And Thursday at Bonnaroo 2017 features the likes of Kevin Abstract and a bunch of other undercard n00bs I've mostly never heard of (except for The Orwells, who are pretty cool).
OK, I'm all out of jokes, check out the rest of the Bonnaroo-2017-by-day lineup below. And get your tickets and other deets at the festival's official site.
