On Feb. 1, the inaugural 615 Indie Live event packed some 17 stages at independent venues across Nashville with local talent, showcasing the power of this part of our music ecosystem for more than 2,200 fans. Today co-producers Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp and indie-venue trade group Music Venue Alliance Nashville announced that the event will be back at venues all over Music City on Feb. 7, 2026.
Early-bird tickets are on sale now from the event website for $15. The lineup will be announced later in the fall, and prices will slide up to $20 at that time, and to $25 on the day of the shows. You can help determine said lineup, whether you’re an artist who’d like to play or a devoted fan who would like to get your favorite local group on the bill. Artist submissions are open via this Google Form for a two-week period set to end Wednesday, Sept. 10.
“Independent music venues are where much of Nashville’s creative energy comes to life,” NCVC president and CEO Deana Ivey says in a release. “These spaces give emerging artists across all genres a chance to be heard and celebrated. With the return of 615 Indie Live, we’re inviting locals and visitors alike to discover new sounds, support neighborhood venues, and experience the depth of talent that makes Music City so unique. Hosting the event in winter is also a meaningful way to support these stages during a typically quieter time of year.”
The release notes that more than half of the event's budget goes toward paying participating performers. The inaugural run also raised $35,000 for MVAN, which added portions of the proceeds to its operating budget and to its Emergency Relief Fund.
“Nashville truly showed up for 615 Indie Live earlier this year,” says MVAN director Chris Cobb. “Venues were packed, the music was incredible, and the positive feedback overwhelming. We really felt that night we had the makings of a new community tradition.”
