The Raconteurs to Play Two-Night Stand in Third Man's Blue Room

This weekend, Jack White's Nashville-based record-label-and-more Third Man Records will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a big blowout headlined by The Raconteurs — White's supergroup, who just announced a release date for their first album in more than a decade. Well, that show is sold-the-hell-out, so if you snoozed on tickets, it would seem you're just out of luck.

Or are you? he asked rhetorically. Third Man has just announced that The Racs will headline a pair of shows next week in TMR's Blue Room, and tickets for that go on sale in just a matter of minutes — today at noon. White and his bandmates Brendan Benson, "Little" Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler will perform at 8 p.m. April 8 & 9, and you can scoop up your tickets for those shows at $50 a pop via this link. Purchases are limited to two tickets at one show, so pick a buddy and queue up. Neither show will have an opening act.

While you wait, get yourself in the mood to rock with The Racs by listening to two tracks from the band's forthcoming Help Us Stranger — "Sunday Driver" and "Now That You're Gone," both of which you can see videos for at this link.
