Bassnectar Returns to Bridgestone Arena New Year’s Eve … Again

Fresh off the wire, here’s a concert announcement that should come as absolutely no surprise to absolutely anyone: Bassnectar returns to Bridgestone Arena New Year’s Eve 2014.

This show, in case you’ve lost count, will mark the fourth consecutive year the EDM titan (who recently told Billboard he has “no interest” in EDM) rings in the New Year (and third consecutive year on a 360-degree, rotating stage in the round) with an arena-sized rave at Nashville’s downtown enormodome, where the bass drop on “Aud Lang Syne” can only sound oh so sick! U.K. producer Tipper and California college-town DJ, G Jones, will open this installment of what can only be described as a Nashville tradition in the making, worthy of the Williams Family legacy, amirite?

According to a press release, this gig promises to be a “bone-rattling, mesmerizing experience.” But don’t take a flak’s word for it; take ours! Revisit our reviews and photos of B-Nec’s 2011, 2012 and 2013 Music City NYE bashes to get you psyched for 2014’s. Tickets are $72.85 and go on sale this Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. (pre-sale) here, and this Friday, Oct. 10, at 10 a.m. (general public) here. You can also stream Bassnectar’s latest LP, Noise vs. Beauty, here.
