Tickets Now on Sale for the Nashville Whiskey Festival

For the fourth year of the annual Nashville Whiskey Festival, organizer (and Midtown Wine and Spirits proprietor) Paul Patel has chosen to focus on turning the festival into a one-day event, although there is still a possibility that more programming may be scheduled on an earlier day. The date of the event will be Saturday, Sept. 12, and the venue will again be the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Just because the festival won't be spread out across several days doesn't mean that Patel hasn't crammed in a whole bunch of tastings, seminars, live music a cigar bar and great food. In fact, they expect more than 60 distilleries pouring 200-plus whiskeys from around the world at the Grand Tasting that begins at 6:30 p.m In addition to the expected Kentucky bourbons and Tennessee whiskeys, representative will also be on hand to pour and discuss whiskeys (and whiskies) from Scotland, Ireland, Canada and Japan. For a constantly updating list of the participating distilleries, check out the event website.

There will also be several educational seminars featuring some of the most respected distillers and brand ambassadors in the world. Only one seminar is confirmed at this point, but more are definitely in the works. Check out the agenda and keep an eye on the event website for future updates:
