Harvest at Homestead Manor, Sister Restaurant to Puckett's, Sets Grand Opening Party

Harvest at Homestead Manor — a new restaurant in Thompson’s Station — is hosting an open house this Sunday, July 12, for folks to come out to the property and check it out. The restaurant is located in the nearly 200-year-old house central to Homestead Manor, the latest property developed by A. Marshall Family Foods, the company that owns the Puckett’s Grocery group of restaurants.

Harvest at Homestead Manor will feature “farm to fork” dishes in a Tuscan-inspired menu created by chef Carlos Garcia. The restaurant will be supplied by the manor's farm and orchard, as well as other local farms. Opening menu items include a morel pizza, Tre Carne Risotto, caprese salad with house-made burrata, pasta primavera, wood-fired brook trout, and cottage cheesecake and seasonal gelatos.

The 50-acre Homestead Manor property also includes a conservatory bar and The Barn, an equestrian-style event space. It's also the site of the Thompson’s Station Farmers Market, held each Wednesday. It’s all part of  the vision of company president Andy Marshall, that the property to incorporate elements of “agri-tourism” and host regular educational and entertainment opportunities around the farm and orchard, open to the public. Plans also include walking trails and historical markers to tell the story of the Battle of Thompson’s Station during the Civil War.

Harvest at Homestead Manor will be open Tuesday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m to 9 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, brunch will be served from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The grand opening celebration, 4 to 6 p.m. this Sunday, will include tours, menu samples and live music throughout the property. Reservations for dinner at the restaurant afterward are encouraged. Visit the property's Facebook page for more information and for updates on activities at the manor.
