The Encore tower already has one restaurant tenant going strong, Etch, which recently announced an expansion — co-owner Doug Hogrefe said in June that Etch is taking another 1,200 square feet for kitchen storage a little more seating —
and two more Encore restaurants are on the way:
Second Windcafe and wine bar, and farm-to-table restaurant The Farm House.
Now, as my Nashville Post colleague William Williams reports, a fourth restaurant is in the works: Fulton's Tavern, which will occupy the northeast corner of Encore’s street-level space.
Fulton's Tavern, described as "an American pub with Irish pub traditions," is restaurateur Luke McKee’s second concept planned for Encore. The tavern will be adjacent to his cafe/wine bar/coffeehouse Second Wind, which is set to open in August. McKee is also in the process of remodeling the former Red Rooster space on Demonbreun Street and has plans to unveil additional restaurants in the area.
The footprint of Fulton's Tavern also includes a 30- to 40-seat patio on Demobreun. McKee has hired a chef, Frank Aloise, who has cooked in restaurants from Boston to Tennessee, including time at the Copper Cellar in Knoxville and Ruth’s Chris Steak House. In his release, McKee did not give an opening date for Fulton's Tavern
