The Cool Springs outpost of Pie in the Sky Pizza has closed, but the owner plans to renovate the location and reopen it as a new "upscale dining concept," The Honeysuckle.
Pie in the Sky Pizza, 1770 Galleria Blvd. in Franklin, closed to the public on Saturday, according to a company release today.
“The Honeysuckle aims to bring the eclectic, culinary driven culture of Nashville to Cool Springs," says owner Kelly Black. "We are focusing on bringing nutrition to elevated Southern cuisine in a memorable and unique dining experience." The new restaurant will feature "locally sourced product, highly nutritional sides and in house dry-aged meats."
During the renovation, the team aims to expand the space to accommodate private and outdoor dining. The Honeysuckle is expected to open this spring.
In the meantime, Black encourages diners to visit the Lenox Village location of Pie in the Sky Pizza, at 6917 Lenox Village Drive in Nashville.
