Late last year, I told you about Nossi College of Arts plans to open a new culinary program to train future Nashville hospitality workers and award Associate Degrees in Culinary Arts. With the recent ribbon cutting of the facility on April 6, it has come much closer to being a reality.
Dignitaries at the event included Cyrus Vatandoost, Executive Vice President, Nossi College of Art, Nancy VanReece, Metro Councilmember, Laura Knotts, President, Madison-Rivergate Area Chamber of Commerce and program leader and industry veteran chef Anthony Mandriota.
Now the real work begins as they plan to admit their first class of culinary students this fall. They’re limiting the class size to 32 students, so if you’re interested in being a part of the program, visit the Nossi website and peruse the curriculum, which will cover subjects ranging across the art and business of restaurant work.
