Less than two years after opening on Nolensville Road near the fairgrounds in South Nashville, 312 Pizza has ceased operations, though the pizzeria's original location is still in business.
The owners of the restaurant, which specializes in Chicago-style deep-dish pan pizza, announced the closing via social media on Thursday, noting that their 312 Pizza flagship in Germantown (which launched in 2013) remains open.
“Thanks to all that supported us at our [South Nashville] location,” an Instagram post reads.
In 2017, 312 Pizza opened the fairgrounds-area location (read here) at 2190 Nolensville Road in a former warehouse that now houses retail and restaurant businesses. The pizzeria is known for its Chicago-themed decor (particularly involving the city's pro sports franchises); the "312" in the name is the area code of the Windy City.
The Scene was unable to contact the owners for details on the closing.
