Makers to Merchants Will Spotlight Local Culinary Entrepreneurs

Weebly is a website builder that aims to help companies of any size grow their business, and it's hoping to get local entrepreneurs ready to kick-start their efforts through a week of seminars called Makers to Merchants. Of particular interest to Bites readers might be the presentation this Thursday, May 10, at the WeWork East Nashville location at 901 Woodland St., where two local food and drink professionals will take part in a panel titled “When to Jump.”

Stephen Rose, founder of The Peach Truck, and Bailey Spaulding, founder of Jackalope Brewery, will join Elizabeth Fox and Liza Graves, co-founders of StyleBlueprintand Patrick Hayes, founder of 1767, as they discuss the early stages of their successful companies and how they made the decision that it was time to turn their side hustles into real businesses. The presentation will be moderated by Mike Lewis, podcast host and author of the inspirational book When to Jump: If the Job You Have Isn't the Life You Want.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free to attend, but you should RSVP if you’re planning to attend so they can make sure to have room for you. Register at the event website and come ready to hear some inspiring stories.
